Applied Behavior Analysis therapy is covered at little or no cost to the beneficiary by most major insurance companies. Northshore Autism Center currently accepts Medicaid (LHCC, Optum/United), BCBS of LA, Aetna, Amerihealth Caritas, Healthy Blue and United Healthcare. We also accept private pay.
To secure a spot on our waiting list- 1. Download and complete the Demographic and Insurance Information Form below and email it to us at [email protected], or fax to (504) 617-7811. 2. Include a copy of your driver's license, insurance card (front/back), a prescription from your child's physician for ABA services and a complete diagnostic evaluation. 3. If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) through a school system, we will need a copy of this also. An Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis is not mandatory for ABA coverage through your insurance. To request a tour of the facility or an in-person explanation of our services, just send us an email indicating as much and we'd be happy to oblige. |
